What youth football actually costs in Frisco and North Texas
Registration fees differ by about $100 across these cities. Tackle equipment costs $300 to $500. So the fee a league advertises is close to noise - and the cheapest registration can buy you the most expensive season.

FFL also runs Air Assault, a flag division for 2nd-3rd grade with the same equipment and practice limits. Registration covers the jersey, referees, field use and maintenance, and game-day balls and flags.

$100 regular, $125 late - the cheapest registration fee in the index and the longest equipment list. Neither uniforms nor equipment are included, and the head coach arranges the uniform purchase. Gloves are required here and not in Frisco. A banner on their site advertises 6-man tackle for 3rd-6th grade coming Fall 2027.

Registration fees come from each organisation's own pages where they publish them. Most do not. Where a figure is our own estimate or comes from a page that has not been updated in years, the table says so under the number rather than leaving you to assume it is current.
Gear prices are retail, checked in October 2026, mostly at Academy. That is deliberate: a helmet costs what it costs on Preston Road, so national pricing is fine for equipment. League fees are different and have to be local, so we never substitute a national average for one.
Where a total reads “from” a number, something required has no published price, usually a uniform a coach arranges privately. We would rather show you a floor than a tidy number that is wrong. Uniform figures marked as our estimate are exactly that.
Socks, water bottles and other things every league requires are left out of totals, because adding them to every row inflates all of them equally and changes no comparison.
